Amer Fort or Amber Fort is a fort located in Amer, Rajasthan, India. Amber city and Amber fort were founded by ruler Alan Singh Chanda of Chanda dynasty of Meenas. It is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements.

Amer Palace is great example of Rajput architecture. Some of its buildings and work have influence of Mughal architecture. The Amer Fort is also popularly known as the Amer Palace. The palace was the residence of the Rajput Maharajas and their families.

The essence of Amer Fort is encapsulated by the beautiful light and sound show within the fort. Amer Fort is also home to some underground tunnels that connect Amer to Jaigarh Fort. Amer Fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.
